Abstract :
This paper presents the investigation in adaptive signal processing of physiological hand tremor. The adaptive signal processing includes adaptive modeling and prediction. The physiological hand tremor is modeled as an AR(3) process. The model coefficients are identified based on the linear prediction and the recursive least-squares (RLS) adaptive algorithm. The simulation and experimental results show that the algorithm can be used effectively to trace the statistical characteristics and predict the hand tremor in a real-time embedded system.
