Abstract
This paper presents a new technique for predistorting highpass prototype filter networks to compensate for the dissipative losses in reactive elements. The method is based upon circuit transformations of a conventional predistorted lowpass prototype network. The resultant networks require additional resistors in addition to the lossy resonators. A design example of a fourth degree Chebychev bandstop filter is presented
