Abstract :
Paper considers the problem of measurement of higher harmonics of current for rectifying devices during design with help of simulation models and MATLAB. The consumed current calculated by simulation model of the rectifying device is used in MATLAB where it is exposed to fast Fourier transform and harmonic analysis. Then power circuit and noise reducing filters optimization is performed based on results of consumed current Fourier analysis. Optimal solution within specified range of parameters giving minimal noise level is chosen.
