Abstract
We demonstrated a fiber sensing system by using an erbium doped fiber resonator cavity formed by two identical fibers Bragg gratings (FBG). The variation of the wavelength of the sensing FBG can be transferred and amplified in real time for long distance environmental monitoring. Measurements of a strain variation in time domain and frequency domain are presented. In addition, by applying a switching control to this system, it can be adapted in multi-sensors monitoring for versatile applications for environmental sensing.
