Abstract :
This paper describes a 64×128b content-addressable-memory (CAM) for 4GHz operation in 1.2V 65nm CMOS technology. A full rail, dual supply, level converter free global bitline accelerator technique results in 21% reduction in search power with iso-performance over optimized high-performance conventional implementation, enabling 13fJ/bit/search operation.
