Abstract :
In this paper, a series feed network which is able to equally excite N number of antenna elements without regards to element spacing or the number of element is proposed. By using the additional microstrip radiating patches on the CRLH TL which acts as a series feed network, the proposed array antenna shows broadside beam pattern with a high gain. The equivalent circuit model of the CRLH TL is achieved by Ansoft Designer, and the antenna structure is optimized by 3-D field simulation tool, CST MWS (Micro Wave Studio).
