Abstract
Fast detection of multiple-signal is a problem concerned by the field of satellite communication reconnaissance, which is a newly emerging thing. Based on the analysis of power spectrum relationship of signals and noise, a criterion of signal detection is found, therefore a general algorithm of fast detection for multiple satellite communication signals is introduced in this paper. Method of determining threshold for the algorithm is given by deducing probability distribution of noise power spectrum, which is calculated through Bartlett averaging periodogram technique. The algorithm can not only detect signals accurately, but also easily obtain medium-frequency signal parameters such as signal number, bandwidth and carrier frequency, etc. under great contrast of amplitudes between signals through recursion. Theoretical analysis and simulation results confirm its availability.
