Abstract :
Polarization properties is the nature of light, this paper studied twist-induce birefringence of optic fiber, using the MATLAB simulation to analyze the state of polarization (SOP) evolution on Poincaré sphere; according to theory to derive output light intensity of sagnac single-mode optic fiber interferometer and combined the experimental result to analyze the relationship of fiber torsion angle and output light intensity.
