Abstract :
In order to understand the reasons for cot death (sudden postnatal death from 28 days to one year), a system containing a medical database has been created. The database has a complete software environment allowing creation, consultation, and modification of files of different categories of babies. The system developed is presented, and computing facilities offered by the system in the field of medical research are described.<>
