Abstract :
By addressing the shortcomings of the HLA, the GY-RTI provides part of a means to realize an integrated environment of interoperable distributed modeling and simulation. The GY-RTI combines the interface description language and federate interface specification with its own contributions: an abstract RTI interface which is independent of language and implements; a flexible and scalable architecture at the federation level for the complex and widespread simulations; and a set of optimized options to support the dissemination of data over wide area networks. In this paper, the design and the implementation of the GY-RTI will be described in detail and the instances of its applications will be introduced.
