  • Abstract
This study proposes a novel method for 3D modeling and calculation of static magnetic fields using user friendly and intuitive shape-generation code (SGC). The method allows numerical and analytical calculations of magnetic fields arising from spatial currents of complicated shapes and does not require special simulation software or specialized knowledge of vector analysis. The method is universal and can be used together with any algorithms of numerical integration. The method is easy to implement by means of common engineering software. The usage of the method is illustrated by examples from literature and academic journals. The method can be potentially extended to modeling fields of 3D-surfaces and volumetric forms or calculating quasi-static fields.
