Abstract :
This paper describes an automatic circuit generation methodology and discusses its application to implement a library of module generators for real-time image processing applications. Although these generators have been developed as part of the programming environment of a custom computer, they can also be used as a means to translate the representations used by image processing practitioners into digital circuits, independently of the underlying technology
