Abstract
This paper deals with fault tolerant control of a networked control systems (NCS) problem. A procedure of fault tolerant control (FTC) is proposed for controlling a system over a network based on model predictive control (MPC) method. In order to match the model with the faulty plant, a new predictive model with actuator fault is developed by introducing the fault information, in which the actual output is used to regulate the predictive one. The performance of the system in the event of actuator fault is maintained by using the concept of so-called "zone region". The results illustrate that the scheme is tolerant to actuator fault.
