Abstract :
We propose and demonstrate a novel photonic approach to generating a frequency-quadrupled millimeter-wave (mm-wave) signal with tunable phase shift. This approach has a unique feature that combines frequency-quadrupling and continuous phase tuning, which can find applications in broadband and high frequency beamforming systems and array signal processing systems.
