Abstract :
We study the spectral-luminescent properties of composites, containing cadmium sulfide quantum dots in the polymer matrix. It is shown that the modification of the polymer matrix high-boiling polar solvent leads to improved characteristics of the material. In the modified PMMA matrix CdS QDs efficiently emitting in the visible spectral region. The efficiency and the emission spectrum does not depend on the method of polymerization and the concentration of sulfur. The resulting materials are promising for use in luminescent solar concentrators.
