Abstract :
We have proposed and experimentally demonstrated a novel frequency-doubling optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) using carrier suppression and Brillouin-gain-assisted carrier recovery. In the experiment, two frequency-doubled microwave signals at 20.062 and 9.976 GHz are shown to demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed frequency-doubling OEO.
