Abstract :
The design of an interferometric array for synthetic aperture imaging radiometers (SAIRs) should allow optimal instrumental response regarding all possible source positions, times of integration and scientific goals. This paper introduces a procedure of multi-objective optimization for the double-ring array. The procedure described can be applied to even more complex array design problems.
