Abstract
We proposed a publicly verifiable hybrid signcryption scheme which has no restriction to the message length. Based on the signcryption scheme, we designed a (t, n) threshold subliminal channel scheme for conveying a subliminal message to a group of users. The validity of signcryptions can be verified by anyone, but only the designated receiver can get the plaintext from the signcryption. Reconstructing the subliminal message relies on the cooperation of t or more users in the group and the validity of the subliminal message can be verified by them. The proposed scheme does not need key management and needs less computation and communication, thus, every node costs less energy. The scheme has been proved confidentiality, unforgability and verifiability. Analysis and experiments show that the proposed scheme is more suitable for MANET.
