Abstract :
In this paper the dynamic analysis of a photovoltaic system with an emulated load control scheme is provided by means of a linearized small-signal state-space model. The model is verified by comparing the results of the time-stepped component level simulation and the simulation of the linearized state-space model. The derived model helps determine the minimal time between iterations of Perturb and Observe algorithm for proper operation, on the basis of settling time. Also, a simple controller is suggested which performs well over a range of operating points.
