Abstract :
We have demonstrated a phase conjugate two wavelength fibre optic parametric oscillator (FOPO). It is possible to achieve four wavelengths FOPO by utilizing second four wave mixing (FWM) process and controlling the pump chirp due to self phase modulation (SPM). Multiwavelength FOPO will provide an effective way to expend the available sources with wavelength beyond the EDFA gain bandwidth. Moreover, its phase conjugate features will find some exciting applications in all-optical signal process
