Abstract :
A new type of extremely wideband, low-cost, high-performance couplers using cut coaxial cable is presented in this paper. Excellent performance in terms of high directivity, low VSWR, good isolation and EMI shielding are the characteristics of the proposed coupler. It also has the advantage of high power handling capacity. Good agreement between measurements and calculations on one hand shows the excellent performance of the coupler, and on the other hand validates the design procedure
