Abstract
This paper presents a design scheme to implement tele-measurement through Internet. Significance of the scheme in monitoring systems is presented, and its development trend is analyzed. The design scheme consists mainly of a communication platform and a peripheral signal-sampling module. An approach to design the communication platform based on embedded microprocessor ARM and embedded operation system uClinux is proposed. With the approach, hardware components of the communication platform are discussed and frame of uClinux is analyzed. A signal-sampling interface for collecting electrical parameters is designed for connection with the communication platform. A dual-port RAM circuit that serves as a data buffer is introduced. The test results have shown the project´s efficiency and reliability
