Abstract
Possibility to build airplane autonomous power supply system based on asynchronous generator is considered. Use of semiconductor current inverter for driving the asynchronous generator together with voltage stabilization for various rotor rotation velocity and with compensation of generator voltage distortions caused by nonlinearity or nonsymmetry of load represent an innovative solution. Autonomous current inverter (unlike voltage inverter it does not have electrolyte capacitor causing well known limitations) is used as converter.
