Abstract :
This paper proposes a new image segmentation processing method using oscillator networks. Accurate image segmentation in the time domain is achieved by introducing a new double-threshold phase detection processing. We also propose LSI circuits for the oscillator network and the new segmentation processing using pulse modulation circuit techniques. As some of the circuit components of the original oscillator network can be used for the new processing circuit, very few additional parts are necessary, and the circuit area is almost the same as in the original model
