Abstract
The paper deals with a theoretical and experimental method in order to demonstrate the inconsistency of the Schelkunoff mathematical isomorphism (infinite plane shield-coaxial transmission lines) in the area of electrically thick samples. Even if it is formally accurate, it has not been experimentally validated up to present, according to numerous works in the field; the authors intend to prove that it contains basic errors when applied to electrically thick samples
