Abstract :
The article describes a welding inverter, which provides AC on an ultrasonic frequency. In contrast to existing DC inverters it is more efficient and produces better welded joints. In the article we mention the schematics of the inverter´s power circuits. This schematics uses resonant method of arc ignition. The article contains a study of this kind of arc ignition. The discussed welding inverter can be used for inducting metal warming.
