Abstract :
A dual microstrip resonator sensor for measurement of dielectric constant with high resolution and a compact area of material under test is proposed. The resonant characteristics obtained by the resonator are suitable for low loss material. The dielectric constant between 2 to 7 can be measured by using the proposed sensor. It has been found that the sensor has great potentials for practical applications in view of low cost and monolithic integration capability with a driving circuit.
