Abstract
Integration of heterogeneous database schemas requires an understanding of the explicit and implicit relationships between the multi-database schema elements. As the size, complexity, and decentralization of information networks continues to grow, it is of paramount importance to develop methods to reliably discover (or approximate) these relationships automatically. We have developed a novel application of data mining, specifically attribute oriented induction, and show how it can be exploited to discover, based on content correlation, multi-database attribute relationships
