Abstract :
Experiments are conducted to evaluate the effects of electrical bonding degradation due to aging on aircraft electronic systems with shielded interconnecting cables. Comparisons are made between systems using 360° backshells to terminate their cable shields and those using pigtails for cable shield termination. The experimental results are in good agreement with the theoretical calculations
