Abstract
An adaptive multilink selection mechanism for motion picture based on transmission quality of wireless channel is presented. The mechanism includes four components. One is the simple retransmission algorithm depending on video stream encoding which can improve the reliability of wireless channel. The second is the flow control technology based on packet loss ratio so as to increase the availability of wireless bandwidth during congestion preventing. The third is the video quality self- adjustment which can improve the real-time ability and continuity of video stream. The last one is a scheduling algorithm of wireless multilink which improves the transmission quality and the reliability. Some simulation experiments show that the mechanism can linearly increase the transmission rate of video stream, and enhance its stability.
