Abstract

In this paper, the design and implementation of a software tool for administration of the final year project module, within the School of Electrical, Electronic and Computer Engineering at the NWU is presented. This web-based tool, simplifies the administration of the project module both from an accreditation point of view and from a resource point of view. The design of the tool is discussed in detail as well as the process that the tool aims to automate. Some qualitative results is also provided to demonstrate the advantages of using such a software tool.
