Abstract :
In order to study the power loss caused by the truncation error, a range of operating points is proposed, during which the misjudgments caused by the truncation error occur. The span of the range of operating points directly decides the amounts of tracking loss. From this point of view, the Perturbation and Observation (P&O) Method and Incremental Conductance (INC) Method are compared. Eventually, an improved algorithm which could reduce the truncation error effectively is presented. The simulation results prove the validity of the theory.
