Abstract :
Energy consumption is one of the most important problems of the wireless sensor networks and it is necessary to be solved. It is important to prolong the network lifetime. A new lifetime model of the node in wireless sensor networks was set up based on the energy consumption characteristics of the wireless sensor networks. Hardware supporting project to prolong the network lifetime are given, and that is to reduce the energy consumption in the node working state and improve efficiency of the electrical source. At last nodes for environment inspecting as our project designed and developed, and then we do some experiments and analyze the result.
