Abstract :
This article describes a new modification of printed Yagi antennas. The presented antenna can significantly reduce a size in comparison with the well-known printed dipole Yagi antennas. There are the rules of quasi-Yagi antenna pattern´s formation and impedance matching conditions are considered in this article. After calculating characteristics and sizes of the antenna, the quasi-Yagi antenna was optimized using computer simulation. Optimization of the antenna was carried out on the center frequency of 1.85 GHz. As a result, the printed quasi-Yagi antenna has much smaller dimension and weight characteristics compared to its analogs and can be used in wireless telecommunication systems.
