Abstract :
This paper introduces the design and implementation of a home network for multiple access control and video transmission. The main architecture of the home network, the software and the hardware design of the home gateway are described separately. The Internet and PSTN (Public Switched Telephone Network) compatible access control of multiple IA (Information Apparatus) is implemented. Further discussion of video transmission in the home network is presented.
