Abstract :
A genetic algorithm based topology optimization algorithm is developed to improve the real-time and reliability performance of industrial wireless network. The multi-rate characteristic of wireless channel is considered, together with the access point´s (AP) capability. The topology design is considered as multi-objective optimization problem, which should minimize the aggregate inner-subnet transmission time, inter-subnet transmission time and balance inner-subnet transmission time evenly.
