Abstract :
An intelligent security system based on self-organizing wireless sensor networks is presented in this paper. The system adopts hybrid topology structure based on cluster, which consists of many sensor nodes and a data sink. The kernel problem during designing this system is to economize energy and extends the survival time. Some energy management policies had been designed in this system. The sensor node and correspond program are designed based on embedded technology. A modified routing protocol based on LEACH is adopted in the system. In the new protocol, the exhausting energy used to transmitting broadcast package was calculated when measuring the best number of cluster head that leaved out by LEACH protocol. Pattern MAC protocol based on cluster is adopted in this system as medium access control protocol. The system presented in this paper have many significant excellences, such as networked, wireless, moveable, high-veracity and lower power-consuming. The using of embedded system improves the stability of wireless data transmission. The sensor nodes can be scattered in the area by copter. The system could be applied to the hospital, the school the high speed way and anywhere needed detect. The security system which is digital, networked, wireless and moveable have abroad application foreground.
