Abstract :
This paper provides a novel multiple-objective fuzzy decision making based routing protocol for wireless sensor networks (WSNs), MOFDMRW. By clustering nodes and establishing multiple trees in the network, there are multiple paths between each node and the cluster head in a cluster. MOFDMRW then chooses the "best" path from multiple paths through comprehensive comparisons of multiple objectives including the energy reserves, the time latency and the reliability using multiple-objective fuzzy decision making (MOFDM). Simulation results show that MOFDMRW performs well with respect to network lifetime, delay and error rate of data transmission, and efficiency of the energy utilization.
