Abstract :
A new high-efficiency transformless photovoltaic generation system, which is based on singlephase hybrid clamped three-level inverter, is proposed in this paper. The leakage current problem in transformless photovoltaic generation systems is solved. The elimination of the transformer can not only reduce the cost, size and weight of the conversion stage, but also increase the system efficiency. Comparing with diode-clamped multilevel inverter, the hybrid clamped three-level inverter doesn´t have the problems of DC capacitor voltage unbalance, so it decreases the complication of the control strategy greatly, and is beneficial to the level number expansion. The validity of the hybrid clamped three-level inverter has been proven through simulation results and experiment results.
