Abstract
In this paper, utilizing a simple simulation method for the passive millimeter-wave (PMMW) imaging construction is presented. According to the application requirements for the imaging system, a specific dielectric lens is designed by using commercial software “CODEV”, and the simple simulation method combining Ray tracing and Huygens´ Principle is used to investigate the point spreading function of this lens. The simulation results show that the characteristic of lens can be simulated by this simple method and the image is easy to construct. In addition, the antenna pattern can be considered in this simulation method.
