Abstract :
Current Mobile healthcare solutions use different wireless protocols, leading to inconvenient management for patients and clinics. A universal architecture has been proposed to allow various wireless protocols to operate seamlessly. For further application of ultra-wide band together with Bluetooth, WiFi and ZigBee, three UWB antennas are simulated and optimized. With half circle grounded, new designed UWB antenna has good performance from 2 GHz to 9 GHz, which has the advantage of miniaturization than conventional patch UWB antennas.
