Abstract :
With the development of high frequency and power for the switching power supply, soft switch technique has become more important now. A novel soft switching technique for Buck converter has been investigated in this paper, which has many good performances such as high power, low loss and so on. The main contributions are as follows: 1. A new topology with soft switching has been proposed; 2. The control approach for this new circuit has been put forward and the simulation has been done by Pspice, the simulative results show that all power switches in the new circuit are soft switching; 3. The designing procedure has been developed. In order to verify the new circuit, a prototype of output power 1500W has been made up. The experimental results display that the new proposed circuit has higher efficiency (about 94%)
