In this paper, different models of superconducting Josephson junction (JJ), particularly the shunted inductive model, have been discussed to understand its chaotic dynamical behavior. Some interesting results on modulation of chaotic oscillation in inductively shunted JJ with external sinusoidal signal as information signal have been reported
