Abstract
The fiber optic gyroscope, which is solid state sensor, represents a highly successful impact of fiber optics on rotation sensing. It has advantages of small size and weight, and low cost. In the construction process, there are two things that cause to reduce accuracy; Quality of optical components and DSP program. In this paper we reviewed structure and operation of Interferometric Optical Fiber Gyro and in continue, described process of derivation of rotation rate from output current and simulated this approach.
