Abstract
In this study, two applications of the thermal step method (TSM) to the insulation diagnosis of high-voltage power cables are presented. The authors focus on the appearance and the evolution of the space charge within the cable insulation, as well as on the effect of the extrusion process on the radial anisotropy of a high-voltage cable
