Abstract :
The numerical simulation results is influenced much by adopting different numerical simulation methods when studying the flow characteristics of cryogenic fluid flows through duct with 90-degree bend by Fluent. The FR k-ε turbulent model is proposed in this paper which adding the filter function on the basis of the Realizable k-ε turbulent model. It adopts the full cavitation model and analyses the velocity, pressure and cavitation by Fluent when cryogenic fluid flows through the circular-sectioned duct with 90-degree bend. The simulation results calculated by the proposed model are compared with RNG k-ε and Realizable k-ε model. The experimental results show that the proposed turbulent model can reflect the flow characteristics of cryogenic fluid in the circular-sectioned duct with 90-degree bend so much the better, and the simulation results are the closest to the experimental data.
