Abstract :
The following paper will provide a middleware architecture integrating common methodologies (XML based data format, functional models and Web-service platforms) in order to facilitate the development of IEEE 1451 standards. A distinct separation exists within the 1451 standards based on an internal complex structure (such as internal methods/functions contained in the software interfaces of 1451 standards) and an external service demand (user would only interest in the sensor data regardless of any standard). This work will entail in the development of a software/user-services based models which can ensconce internal mechanism of 1451 standards to local/remote HMI (human machine interface). An XML data representation is adopted to achieve this goal.
