Abstract :
With the popularization of IC card in the urban public transit, IC card data plays a much more important role in urban public transit planning. Through analyzing IC card data, this paper proves that IC card data is able to partly substitute the data got by the complicated resident trips survey. The bus arriving time is obtained by on-bus survey to complete those IC card data and the bus stops OD matrix is got from IC card. The data is processed by Furness Method to get Bus stops OD matrix which can be used in urban transit planning and urban transit network optimization.
