Abstract :
Grid computing is a promising technology for future computing platforms. Economy model is a different approach to realize resource allocation in grid computing. In the economy model of grid resource allocation such as commodity or posted price model, sharing resource is based on negotiating about the flat fee, usage duration or time, QoS and some other items between the provider and the consumer of grid resource. But it is impossible task for there is a great deal of grid resources and users in grid even in a virtual organization, and it will be unsatisfactory for its sharing efficiency. In this paper, the idea of GRS (grid resource supermarket) and its pricing strategy are introduced. An improvement of posted price model based on GRS and optimization based on MOGAP (multi-objects generalized assignment problem) are proposed. Our scheme can help to solve the problem in the previous description. In the end an example is given to show the feasibility of this scheme.
