Abstract :
This work is concerned with design, manufacturing and testing of enhanced dual-layer grid polarizers for millimeter (MM) and sub-millimeter (sub-MM) electromagnetic waves. Enhanced MM and sub-MM wave (THz) polarizers are needed in astrophysics (detection of polarization of Cosmic Microwave Background at the level of about -80 dB), polarization interferometry, remote sensing, etc.
